A couple of weeks ago I attended my second Future of Web Apps (commonly known as FOWA) London, which is a excellent conference that the guys at Carsonified put on every year for web developers to network, and listen to great speakers about what’s going on in their field.

One of the most exciting talks by far was from Francisco Tolmasky of 280 North on their upcoming app for building stunning interfaces in their web app framework Cappuccino

Another was Kevin Rose talk about “Taking your web app from 1 to 1 million users”. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get to FOWA on time for the first day of the conference, so unfortunately missed the first 10 minutes of his talk, but still, what I did see at the time was fantastic and even offered some useful pro tips for startups.
